Sims Medieval Mac Unable To Start Game

The Sims Medieval is a simulation video game based on The Sims 3 engine. The Sims Medieval was developed and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and iOS, and was released on March 22, 2011.

Unable to start game Service initialization files (0x039e8474) I have a 2010 MacBook air. I have not had issues with Sims 2, Sims 3 (besides the crashing that everyone else has), or Sims 4. All of these included multiple expansion pacs. All of Sims 4 (expansion pacs and all) were purchased from Origin. Sims 3 from CDs. Sims 2 from the App Store. Sorry, answer was on the top: Go into your Sims 3 user data folder (Documents Electronic Arts The Sims 3) and delete the Version.tag file. This affects users loading data from the original 32-bit game folder which was patch level 1.67. The 64-bit Metal version is 1.70. Trashing this file removes the mismatch which confuses the game. However, now the message 'Unable to start game. Service initialization failed (0x0175dcbb) pops up, and the game automatically quits. I have looked around on the Internet and plenty of other people have had this problem, but I can only find solutions for Windows, and as previously stated, I bought a Mac. Can someone please help me?

The Sims Medieval is set in medieval times, it allows the player to build a kingdom driven quest gameplay. On December 21, 2010, EA announced that the Limited Edition was available until the start date, and was also released simultaneously with the standard version.
