The Battle of Surabaya was fought between pro-independence Indonesian soldiers and militia against British and British Indian troops as a part of the Indonesian National Revolution. On 27 October 1945, a British plane from Jakarta dropped leaflets over Surabaya urging all Indonesian troops and militia to surrender their weapons. Cerita Battle of Surabaya merupakan cerita adaptasi dari peristiwa 10 November 1945 di Surabaya. Musa, seorang remaja penyemir sepatu yang kemudian membawa misi sebagai kurir surat-surat rahasia untuk para tentara dan milisi pejuang Indonesia. Selain surat rahasia Musa juga mengantar surat-surat pribadi para pejuang untuk keluarganya. Film animasi karya anak bangsa ‘Battle of Surabaya’ menjadi salah satu acara yang ditampilkan KBRI Buenos Aires dalam Festival ‘Vive Asia’ bulan November 2020. Film ini dipilih untuk memperingati Hari Pahlawan yang jatuh setiap tanggal 10 November.
